Our Drinking Water Filter features a specifically designed 3-stage filtration process made up of a Sediment Filter, Ultra Filtration Filter and Carbon Block Filter.

Water Filter A – Sediment Filter

A high-grade 5-10 micron polypropylene sediment filter that removes rust, dirt, sand particles, and other insoluble impurities from your kitchen tap water.

Water Filter B – Ultra Filtration

Ultra Filtration (UF) hollow-fibre membrane with a 0.01 micron filtration accuracy. Made up of thousands of hollow-fibre modules, measuring only about 0.2 to 3 mm in diameter, this offers greater flexibility and packing density compared to other filtration methods. The Ultra Filtration water filter can effectively filter out harmful contaminants larger than 0.01 microns, including but not limited to chlorine, bacteria, fluoride lead, other heavy metals, VOCs, silt, rust, and now Microplastics.

Water Filter C – Carbon Block Filter

A top-grade 0.5-micron carbon block filter that reduces chlorine, VOCs, fluoride, and heavy metals such as lead, mercury, and cadmium from water. The Block Carbon Filter (2) also helps to eliminate any unpleasant taste and odour, cloudiness, and colour from your kitchen tap water.

When you purchase our Drinking Water Filter, we provide you with a 12-month supply of filters (A,B,C & spare A).

Below is a recommended breakdown of how long each water filter lasts. 

Water Filter A: Sediment Filter

Lasts 6 months – approximately 4,000 litres.

Water Filter B: Carbon Block Filter (1)

Lasts 12 months – approximately 19,000 litres.

Water Filter C: Carbon Block Filter (2)

Lasts 12 months – approximately 19,000 litres.

IBWA recommends that bottled water is to be stored at room temperature (20°c – 22°c). We all know how hot it can get in the UAE or gulf regions.

Just drop us an email one week before your move with your dates and locations. Our Tappie Technician will remove the filters and re-install them in your new home while returning the existing system back to its original state.

There is a small relocation fee of 160 AED inc. VAT within Dubai. For all other Emirates, please enquire. 

It’s ok, sometimes these things happen. 

If you’ve searched high and low and still can’t find it, please contact our Tappie Team via email, and we will arrange for a new filter to be delivered to you. Please kindly note that there is a small charge of 156 AED inc. VAT to replace the lost Drinking Water Filter replacement.

To avoid misplacing any future replacement filters, we recommend keeping the spare filter close to the filter unit itself.
